For 55 years, Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens has provided pet services with the same dignity and respect given to our human services. Our original pet garden, Pet Haven, was one of the first pet memorial gardens in Baltimore County. To meet a community need, we added two new gardens, Pet Sanctuary, and Faithful Friends.
To meet community needs we opened a beautifully landscaped pet garden behind the mausoleum complex. Dulaney Valley continues to offer a range of spaces, caskets, and memorials for traditional ground burials.
For those who prefer cremation, cremated remains may be placed in niches located within an octagon base supporting a life-size bronze statue of a golden retriever and cat. Additionally, granite cremation benches are available for placement of both human and pet cremated remains within the same bench.
Faithful Friends offers pet parents the choice of being interred with their beloved pet resting at their feet. A limited number of spaces offering bronze or granite memorialization are available.
Pet parents may also choose a granite cremation bench for placing their cremated remains with that of their pets.
Since 1967, the Pet Haven has provided pet owners with the opportunity to inter their devoted pets with dignity in an area within the cemetery. This section is the final resting place for a horse, a pony, two potbellied pigs, a chinchilla, a squirrel, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits and over 3,000 cats and dogs. An evocative bronze sculpture of a praying boy embodies the devotion of pet owners and is the source of comforting serenity in the Pet Haven section.
Unfortunately, spaces in this garden are no longer available for purchase.
